Wend is a literary magazine that seeks poetry and visual art from new and established writers. Our name holds true to what we care about in our writing– that each piece we publish is an insight to the personal journey.

Simply put, Wend writers captivate and alter the reader’s point of view. We are attracted to standards that change and grow with contemporary needs and tastes and encourage submissions that challenge our readers to think. With that in mind, we encourage writers of all ages, races, gender identities, sexual orientations, religions, abilities, and economic statuses to submit to us. Readings are open identity, free, and are supported by our gracious volunteer readers.
